Thelma Robinson, a beacon of unwavering faith and selfless love, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2024, in Hartford, AL. Born on January 2, 1943, in Webb, Alabama, Thelma's life journey was one of devotion, care, and an unyielding commitment to her family and faith.

Thelma, known affectionately as just that to her family and friends, was a cherished mother, sister, and auntie. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her son, Norman W. Boston Jr., her sisters, Loretta Mays of Dothan, AL, Lillie Jean Holmes of Jacksonville, FL, Bernice McKenzie, Bernestine McCloud, Martha Faulk, Rebecca Robinson, Linda Robinson, and Stephanie Robinson, all who reside in Wauchula, FL; her brothers, Johnny L. Robinson of Arcadia, FL, and Andy Robinson of Wauchula, FL, and a close-knit circle of friends, Etherlene, Maddie, and Christan. Her life was further enriched by the joy she found in her nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of family members who will hold her memory dear. Thelma was preceded in death by her loving parents, Julia Mae McSwain and Johnny C. Robinson, her beloved sons, Dennis Lee Boston and Martin "Bo" Boston, her sisters, Janice Johnson, Lola Brown, Martha Ann Robinson, and Mattie Daniels, and her brother, Jesse Lee Robinson.

A dedicated caregiver, Thelma retired from a fulfilling career at Harts Harbor Health Care Center Nursing Home in Jacksonville, FL. Her gentle touch and compassionate nature as a certified nursing assistant brought comfort and healing to many during their most vulnerable times. Thelma's commitment to nurturing others extended beyond her professional life; she was a devoted mother to her three boys, embodying the virtues of patience and unconditional love.

Throughout her life, Thelma's faith was her compass. As a devout Jehovah's Witness, she never missed an opportunity to attend conventions and gather with her spiritual community. Her belief system was a cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and enriching her spirit.

As we bid farewell to Thelma Robinson, we celebrate a life beautifully lived, a path generously walked, and a soul profoundly cherished. Her legacy of love, care, and faith will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she has left behind. Thelma's spirit will forever be remembered as a guiding light, a comforting presence, and a testament to the power of living a life devoted to others and to the divine.

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 14th at 1pm at Kingdom Hall at 866 North Brannon Stand Road, Dothan, AL, with Joseph Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in Gates of Heaven Cemetery.
