Thomas Robert Orlowski

Thomas Robert Orlowski (Tom), of Dothan, passed away Tuesday August 14, 2018 at his residence. He was 48. A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday August 25, 2018 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Goldsmith officiating and Sunset Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Tom was born January 24, 1970 in Texas City, Texas. His family moved to Dothan in 1978. Tom spent several years in the Navy, and later worked in security. Tom loved many things, but what he loved most was people. He loved to talk to his friends and family and share the things that were special to him. Tom was preceded in death by his mother, Jean Orlowski. Survivors include his father; Terrance Orlowski (Shirley) and sister; Christine Gibbons (James), nephews; James and Jonathan. Extended family are sisters; Shelley Franco (Michael) and Gerri Cowden (Joe), niece; Alex Ray (Chris) and nephew; Jeremiah. He was survived briefly by his canine companion, Lady.
