Tiffany Jenay Thornton

August 23, 1973 — March 17, 2025

Tiffany Jenay Thornton, affectionately known as “Tip” to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family in her hometown of Dothan, Alabama. Born on August 23, 1973, in the same warm-hearted town, Tiffany's life was a testament to the power of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering love.

A proud graduate of Dothan High School, Tiffany carried the spirit of her education through every aspect of her life. She spent four years as the General Manager at My Pie Pizza in Dothan, where her passion for people shone brightly. Tiffany was known for her love of Coca-Cola, often found with a Coke in hand, and her impressive collection of Coke memorabilia brought joy to those who knew her well.

Tiffany's heart was always open, and she was renowned for being a genuine people person. Her ability to listen and care for others was unmatched. Tip was a cherished member of Church of the Crossing, where her caring nature found another avenue for expression. She was the kind of person who would give her last to anyone in need, embodying the very essence of selflessness.

Throughout her life, Tiffany worked at various restaurants, a clear reflection of her love for community and service. Her sons, Camden and Chadwick Thornton, were the pride and joy of her life. She poured her love into her family, and her legacy continues through her grandchild, Emmerson Mae Thornton, who brought immense happiness to her later years.

Tiffany was predeceased by her parents, Mae Ola Thornton and Charlie Thornton, and her brother, Keefer Glanton. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving sisters, Rita Register (BJ), Gail Turner, and Ceciliy Thornton as well as her loving aunts, Lennette Glanton and Elizabeth (Mo) Hill. She leaves behind a host of loving nieces, nephews, friends, and family members who will miss her deeply.

Three special friends, Timeka Brownlee, Ehren Wilson, and Nakia Phelps, will forever hold Tiffany in their hearts. Her kindness and loving nature extended beyond her immediate family and touched the lives of many in the Dothan community.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Tiffany will remember her as loving, kind, and selfless. She was a beacon of light in the lives of many, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand. Her absence will be felt profoundly by all who were blessed to cross paths with her.

Tiffany Jenay Thornton lived a life that exemplified the beauty of giving, the strength of compassion, and the joy of unconditional love. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she touched. Her laughter, her warmth, and her unwavering dedication to her family and friends will be cherished forever.
