Timothy Fredric Croft

Timothy Fredric Croft, known to all as Tim, has left the building. Born on January 16, 1956, in the bustling metropolis of Waterloo, Iowa, Tim decided to take his final bow on July 23, 2023, in the equally bustling Dothan, Alabama.

Tim was the kind of guy who could make a trip to the post office feel like an adventure, which was handy since he spent 30 years working as a Postal Service clerk for the United States Postal Service. He was the kind of guy who would tell you a joke while handing over your mail, making even the most mundane task a little brighter. Before his postal career, he served in the army, proving that he was not only funny but also brave.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Diana Croft, who are probably getting a good laugh right now as Tim is undoubtedly cracking jokes in the great beyond. He leaves behind his special friends, Laura McMillan, Tamara Houston, and Kevin Williams, who will surely miss his infectious laughter and endless supply of dad jokes.

Tim was a high school graduate, proving that you don't need a fancy degree to be wise or to have a wicked sense of humor. He was friendly, adventurous, and wise, a trifecta of traits that made him a joy to be around. He was easy-going, smart, outgoing, and sweet, and a combination that made him a favorite at parties.

Tim had a way of making everyone feel like they were the most important person in the room. He was the kind of guy who would remember your name, your dog's name, and that funny story you told him three years ago. He had a knack for making people laugh, a talent for telling stories, and a heart as big as his sense of humor.
