Tindell Lomax Cobb, Sr.

January 4, 1946 — April 6, 2018

Tindell Lomax Cobb, Sr., a resident of Ozark, AL passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at a local hospital. He was 72 years old. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Sunset Memorial Park Veterans Pavilion with Pastor Greg Doss officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Cobb was born in Plant City, FL and spent the early part of his life in Florida, Texas and Alabama. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Marine Corps for several years. Following his military service, he was employed with McDonald Construction for over 25 years in Lakeland, FL. He lived in Marion, IN prior to moving to Ozark, AL in 2006 where he spent his retirement enjoying the things he loved; fishing, 4-wheeling, and spending time with his family. Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Lee and Nellie Cobb, and his sisters, Sharon Marie Cobb and Kathryn Virginia Chauncey. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Cobb; son, Tindell "Dell" Cobb, Jr. (Lacey); daughter, Amy Cobb; step-daughter, Helen Perry (Mike); grandchildren, Alexandria, Katelyn, Christian, David, Lillian, and Aiden; a sister, Mary Lois Ivey (Amos). Burial Date April 11, 2018 Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the Sunset Memorial Park Veterans Pavilion with Pastor Greg Doss officiating.
