Tolly Conry “Dusty” Lambert of Midland City went home Saturday July 24, 2010 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 67.
Funeral services are to be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 11 am in the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to service time.rnDusty was born on April 2, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama and lived the early years of his life in Gadsden. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Lambert was employed with IBM while living in Bristol, TN. He resided in Montgomery, Alabama prior to moving to Dothan in 1973. Mr. Lambert was employed as a service manager for Monroe Systems for business for 20 years until his retirement in 1989. He owned and operated Lambert Glass Works from 1995-2002. Mr. Lambert played Santa for the area schools. He was a member of the American Legion.rnSurvivors include his wife Patricia Lambert, Midland City; his son, Greg Tami Lambert, Dothan; his step-son, Christopher Beasley, Lawrenceville, GA; his step-daughter, Trishka Cribb, Midland City; his 5 step-grandchildren; a brother, Jerry Douglas; a sister, Anita Perry, Gadsden; several nieces and nephews.
