Tommy Heggins

Tommy Heggins was born on August 6, 1941 in Covington County Alabama. He departed this life on Sunday April 19, 2020 at 4 P.M. at home surrounded by his family after an extended illness. Mr. Heggins was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Head, his father Frank Heggins, four brothers Frank, James, Paul, and Donnie, three bonus-sons Arron, Michael, and Levonne Jones of Midland City. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, and spending time with his family. He was a very fun and outgoing person. To know him was to love him. He did not meet any strangers. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Merle Heggins, son: Richard Heggins-Pensacola, FL; daughter: Remonia Jones-Midland City, AL; three bonus-daughters: Betty (Henry) Andrews, Antoinette Jones-All of Midland City, AL; Kimberly (Eric) Gray-Union City, GA; three bonus-sons Cameron, Thomas, Wayne, Thomas, William, Thomas- All of Union City, GA; one brother Robert (Ann) Stoudemire-Wakefield, VA; four sisters; Annie Caldwell of Enterprise, AL; Fannie Louis, Janice Everheart both of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, and Mary Russell of Hartford, CT.; 20 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
