Tristan Andrew Shaw

Tristan Andrew Shaw, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his residence. He was 24 years old.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on January 6, 2022 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Beaty officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Tristan was born on January 30, 1997 in Dothan and lived there all his life. A 2015 graduate of Dothan High School, Tristan was pursuing a degree in Information Systems from Troy University. Those who knew Tristan knew of his kind-hearted personality and desire to help each person he met. He had a natural talent for solving problems with technology and showing others how it was done. For hobbies, Tristan loved watching NASCAR and college sports, playing video games with his brother, Trevor, and visiting new places on family vacations. He also enjoyed volunteering with Alabama Power Service Organization alongside his family in supporting local community events. Tristan will be missed more than words can say by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Colleen Shaw.

Survivors include his parents, Bill and Thanh Ha Shaw; brother, Trevor Shaw; grandmother, Kim (William Truong) Nguyen; grandfather, Chau Le; aunt and uncle, Diane and Thomas Shaw; aunt, Thao Nguyen; and cousins, Do (Linh) Bui, Sharon Bui, and Minh Bui.
