Vernon Lee Warren

Vernon Lee Warren, 71, a resident of Daleville passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Flowers Hospital.

Mr. Warren was born on April 13, 1937 in Saugus, Massachusetts and lived the early years of his life there. He joined the U.S. Army in 1964 and served two tours in Vietnam in Aviation Maintenance. He retired after 21 years of service in 1985 at Ft. Rucker. He was later employed with Dyn-Corp for 16 years prior to his retirement in 2002. He has resided in Daleville for the past 35 years and was a Disabled American Veteran.

Survivors include his wife Sharon K. Warren of Daleville; daughters, Kim Houke-Warren and Linda Houke of Daleville, Laverne Saputo and her husband Peter of Mass.; grandchildren, Zachary and Madison Houke-Warren, Antonio, Andreaz, Ardriana and Alessia Saputo; sisters, Sharon Beaton and Barbara Glidden of Mass.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bud and Margaret Craft, Gene and Nancy Houke of MO; many nieces and nephews.
