Vickie Deese Holland

Victoria “Vickie” Deese Holland, a resident of Dothan passed away on Friday, March 12, 2010 at her residence. She was 41.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 15, 2010 at Covenant United Methodist Church with Dr. Hayes McKay and Rev. Chuck Locke officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the Sunset Funeral Home from 3 until 5 Sunday afternoon.rnVickie was born November 26, 1968 in Houston County and resided in Dothan all of her life. She was a 1987 graduate of Northview High School and she later received her associate degree from Wallace College. Vickie was employed for over twenty years in the mortgage industry with Regions Bank, SunSouth Bank and at the time of her death she was employed with Mid-South Bank as a Mortgage originator. She enjoyed playing softball and loved to watch her children play baseball and coaching T-ball. Vickie was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, the Homebuilders Association, and a volunteer for the National Peanut Festival.rnVickie was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Talmadge Holland.rnSurvivors include her husband, Sean Holland; her son, Ethan Holland; her daughter, Anna Grace Holland, all of Dothan; her parents, Tony and Delilah Deese, Dothan; her mother-in-law, Pat Holland, Dothan; her brother, David Deese and his wife Elicia, Headland, AL; her sister, Nicky Deese, Dothan; and her niece, Shelby Deese, Dothan.
