Virginia Kilpatrick Smith, a resident of Ozark was called home to Jesus on December 16, 2010. She was welcomed into Heaven by her father Ora Lee Kilpatrick and two nieces, Kimberly Dawn Kilpatrick and Valerie Michelle Coots.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Marley officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. At all other times the family will be at the home of Virginia’s sister Cathy Doran, 122 Debbie Ct., Ozark, AL.rnVirginia was born on November 16, 1940 in Opp, AL and lived there and in Daleville the early part of her life. She was employed with A.W. Herndon Oil Company as a store manager for several years prior to her retirement in 2005. She loved to travel and had a great sense of humor. Virginia was a member of the Ozark First Church of the Nazarene. rnSurvivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Teresa A. Rincon of Panama City and Torey and Teresa H. Rincon of Panama City Beach; her mother Sallie Mae Brownlee Kilpatrick; sisters, Cathy Doran of Ozark and Barbara Kilpatrick of Newton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roger and Linda Kilpatrick of Ozark, Donnie and Sheryl Kilpatrick of Ozark, John and Donna Kilpatrick of Ariton; grandchildren, Ashley Holmes of Dothan, AL, Wendy Kurz of Lorton, VA, Misty Hayes of Marianna, FL, Tanis, Kelvey and Autumn Rincon of Panama City Beach; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive; a special companion and friend Paul Rincon of Banks, AL. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
