Wallace Williams

August 13, 1936 — April 12, 2014

Wallace Williams, 77, of Pinckard passed away Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Signature Healthcare in Graceville, FL.

Funeral services will be 2 pm Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Keener Batchelor officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. At all other times the family will be at the home of Trish and Bill Elliott, 105 Nottoway Blvd, Dothan, AL, 36303.

Mr. Williams was born August 13, 1936 and lived the early part of his life in Headland, AL. He lived in Hartford for several years prior to moving to Midland City in 1981. He was employed with Grantham Cabinet Shop for 20 years as a wood worker and built furniture and cabinetry retiring in 2008. Mr. Williams is a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Tullie Williams, brothers, Junior Williams and James Williams, and sisters, Ruth Hanners, Sarah Williams, and Dorothy Williams.

Survivors include his children, Edward Williams of Pinckard, AL, Trish Bill Elliott of Dothan, and Debra Killingsworth of Dothan; grandchildren, Shaun Kim Cunningham of Dothan, Cherish Cunningham of Dothan, John John Cunningham of Dothan; Richard Killingsworth of Marshall, MN, April Brandon Chandler of Blakely, GA, and Justin Killingsworth of Hartford, AL; great-grandchildren, Briley Ava Cunningham of Dothan, Paylin Victoria Cunningham of Dothan, and Jaxon Chandler of Blakely, GA; a sister, Mary Frances Andrews of Graceville, FL; brothers, Woodrow "Buck" Faye Williams of Hartford, AL, Jessie Betty Williams of Eufaula, AL, and Ralph Williams of Florida; and a very special person whom he loved very much, his grandchildren's father Tim Cunningham.
