Will Henry Henderson, 86, passed away Sunday May 8, 2016 at a local hospital.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Thursday May 12, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. David Reddick officiating. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 am prior to the service.

Will Henry Henderson, a native of Dothan was born in Dothan, Alabama. on November 22, 1929. He was a veteran of the Korean War and held the rank of Sergeant First Class, recipient of the Bronze Star and Letter of appreciation from the President of Korea, after his military enlistment ended he moved to Baltimore, Maryland. He later moved to Irvington New Jersey and worked a long career with Baxter Warehouse where he held the position of Shop Stewart. After retirement he moved back to his home town of Dothan, Ala. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Newark N.J. and Tabernacle Baptist Church, Dothan, Al. He had a love for all of those that he met.

He was preceded in death by her parents: Willie Henderson and Cleo Robinson Henderson; Wife Ellen Mae Henderson; two brothers: Ralph Henderson and Charles Henderson; two sisters: Mae Frank Flowers and Ruby Jewel Smith.

Survivors include; Five daughters: Peggy Morrison Rezin Newark, New Jersey, Gale Jacobs Tony, Kiesha White, Mary Sue Henderson Jacksonville, Florida, Leslie Lois McRae Abbeville, Alabama; three sons: Antonio Craig Tina, DeShaun White, and Billy Henderson; grandchildren: Danielle Henderson Newark, New Jersey, Rezin Henderson Jr. Newark New Jersey, Shaun Jacobs, Christopher Jacobs, Kamyah Craig, Irvington, New Jersey, Kareem Craig, Destiny Craig, Jabrea Moultry, Shakia Moultry, Altraze White, Jeremiah White, Cameron White, Sean Paul Cadet; four sister: Mattie P. Ayres, Willie Pearl Carter Walter Tuscumbia, Al., Geraldine Jones Paul, Joyce Lampkin Arthur; one brother-in-law: Albert Ross Barnes; One sister- in-law: Aletha Sutton George; nine nephews: James Flowers, Walter Carter Jr., Jan Carter, Terry Henderson, Dwight Jones, Robert Jones, Tim Lampkins, Lance Jones East Orange, New Jersey, Loreal Jones East Orange, New Jersey.; twelve nieces: Dovie Scott, Janie Palmer, Marie Flowers, Deborah Lampkin, Wendy Flournoy, Erika Dorsey, Loretta MacKenney, Baltimore, Maryland, Renee Barnes, Miami, Florida, Beverly Jones, Newark, New Jersey, Dr. Cynthia Sutton, East Orange, New Jersey; Bernzetta Williams Anthony Newark, New Jersey; LaGayshia Jones, East Orange, New Jersey;: Parent-in-law; Rosena Jacobs; Son-in-law: Reggie JacobsDawn and a special family friend Cathy Dantley along with host of family members and friends.
