Willene Coleman Jr.

Willene Coleman, Jr., of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at a local hospital following a brief illness. He was 68 years old on the 4th of May.

rnServices will be held 11 am on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Harold McKissic officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Friday at the funeral home. rnMr. Coleman was born May 4, 1943 in Dothan and lived here all of his life. He was employed with Couch Construction for over 20 years until his retirement in 2005. Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his mother Lessie Coleman and his father Willene Coleman, one brother L.C. Coleman, and a daughter Candice Coleman. rnSurvivors include his wife of 23 years Sarah Coleman of Dothan; 4 brothers, Elder Joel Coleman Mable of Dothan, Johnny Coleman of Jacksonville, FL, Leon Coleman Glenda of Headland, and Jerry Coleman of Dothan; 3 sisters, Gean Coleman Brackins of Dothan, Willie Mae Hall of Dothan, and Teresa McNealy Randy of Dothan; his children, Willene Coleman, III Tammy of Atlanta, GA, Nancy Hamilton of Atlanta, GA, Lisa Coleman of Dothan, Vanessa Coleman of Dothan, and Teresa Coleman of Dothan; 18 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law Donald Smith of Dothan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
