Throughout his life, Alex was known for his wit and intelligence. He was a funny and smart man who had the rare ability to make complex ideas understandable and entertaining. His laughter was infectious, and his presence could light up a room. In 1986, he married the love of his life, Donna, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and dance, often sharing tender moments dancing in their kitchen.

A talented Irish Tenor Singer, Alex's voice graced almost every church in Savannah, Georgia, where he lived for most of his life. His musical talent was a gift that he shared generously, uplifting the spirits of those who were fortunate enough to hear him sing. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a dedicated member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where his singing and fellowship will be greatly missed.
