William Marshall Kellum

William Marshall “Papa” Kellum, a resident of Echo, AL died on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the home of his sister, Pat Martin. He was 61.

The family will be receiving friends and loved ones at the homes of his mother Dorothy, and his sister Pat. A private Memorial Service will be held for the family at a later date.

Mr. Kellum was born October, 2 1948. He was a long time fixture in the construction/roofing industry. He was known for his love of the land and looking for Indian artifacts in the wiregrass area.Mr. Kellum was preceded in death by his Father Robert and his brothers Lamar and Jessie.Survivors include his mother Dorothy G. Kellum, sons, Jason Amber, David Christine, and Kennith Danielle; a daughter Joy; a grandson Kevin; sisters, Pat Bob Martin, Jean Eddie Peavy, Dorothy Kellum; a brother Dan Rita Kellum; a host of nieces and nephews.A special thanks to Covenant Hospice, friends, and loved ones for their thoughts and prayers.
