William Murray Taylor

William Murray Taylor, a resident of Dothan passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Wesley Manor. He was 77.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eddie Biss officiating. Burial will follow in Midland City Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Wiregrass Hospice, 2740 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL, 36303 or Wesley Manor, 718 Honeysuckle Rd., Dothan, AL, 36301. Mr. Taylor was born on December 13, 1931 in Geneva County and lived the early part of his life there. He resided most of his life in Midland City and was employed with Jenkins Masonry for several years. Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.Survivors include 2 sisters, Jewel Dunleavy of Miami, FL, Myla Ford of Kileen, TX; several nieces and nephews to include Susan Trawick Loftin of Dothan, Carol Trawick Cunningham of Dothan.Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his caretakers from Wiregrass Hospice and Wesley Manor. Burial Date: January 1, 1970
