William Daniel Walker

June 12, 1971 — April 26, 2021

William Daniel Walker, a resident of Ozark, AL and the Skipperville Community, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021 in Southeast Health Medical Center. He was 49 years young.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Stonebridge Church of God, Ozark with Rev. Floyd Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stonebridge Church of God on Friday from 1-2 pm.

Daniel, as everyone knew him, was born on June 12, 1971 in Dale County, Alabama. He was a graduate of George W. Long High School in 1991 and a graduate of Wallace Community College. Daniel was an Auburn Fan but would on occasion root for Alabama. He also enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling on television.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, William David Walker, his grandparents, Lloyd Walker and Mary Bell Walker, Cecil and Mae Bell Daniels, his 2 uncles, Edward Walker and Edward Daniels.

Survivors include his mother, Peggy Walker, Ozark, AL; his brother, David Walker, Ozark, AL; several well-loved aunts, uncles, and cousins; one special cousin and friend, Gerald Walker, Ozark, AL; one special friend, Danny Mellor; and a very much-loved pet, Buddy.

Burial Date April 30, 2021 A celebration of his life will be held at 2 pm on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Stonebridge Church of God, Ozark with Rev. Floyd Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stonebridge Church of God on Friday from 1-2 pm.
