Willie Charles Hall, 73 of Headland passed away Thursday August 9, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side.
Funeral services will be held 12 noon Saturday August 11, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Mr. Hall was born February 26, 1939 in Houston County and resided in Panama City, FL most of his life. He graduated from Rehobeth High School and was employed as a lineman in the electrical construction industry. He moved to the Tumbleton Community in 2001. He managed the Trail Town Western Store in Headland and was an avid bass fisherman and loved Quarter Horses.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years Barbara Hall of Headland; two sons, Mike Hall of Haleburg, AL and Mark Hall Valerie of Hartford, AL; two daughters, Kim Johnson Greg of Panama City, FL and Karla Strickland of Hartford, AL; five grandchildren, Matthew Hall Courtney, Alexandria Hall Hunter Johnson, Holli Johnson, and Summer Strickland; one great-grandchild Braylon Hall; a sister Tiny Hollis Joe of Decatur, AL; a special great-niece Keltin Bettis; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Covenant Hospice, Dr. Darius Aliabadi, Dr. Michael O'Brien, Dr. Evans and Dr. Maynor of Panama City, as well as numerous other healthcare professionals over the past 38 years.
