Funeral services with rendering of military honors will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. John Baxter officiating. Burial will follow in Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Sylvan Grove United Methodist Church, 4495 Dale County Rd 14 Midland City, AL 36350 or to a charity of your choosing.
Wyman was born in Midland City on November 11, 1931 to the late Bryant and Vera Windham. He was a graduate of Midland City High School and soon after graduation he enlisted with the United States Navy. After the Navy, Wyman sold insurance for a few short years. He then worked civil service at Ft. Rucker for over 30 years before retiring.
Wyman was preceded in death by his parents; three of his siblings, Wilton Windham, Lynette Tice, and Martin Windham; and three stepchildren, Art, Debra, and Rickey.
He is survived by his brother, Lorry (Oudia) Windham; his sisters, Freddie Ethridge, Rebecca Phillips, and Karen W. Bell; two special grandsons, Andrew Larsen and Charles Evans; his stepchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
